Russell Simmons is facing another rape allegation. This time, activist and author Sil Lai Abrams is accusing him of raping her back in 1994. But Simmons isn’t the only famous man she says violated her. She has also revealed that Extra host A.J Calloway sexually assaulted her in 2006.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, after a night of partying and heavy drinking, Abrams asked Simmons to take her home. She said he instead took her to his penthouse, where she passed out. Abrams said once she opened her eyes she saw Simmons approaching her with nothing but a condom on.  She claims that no matter how much she told him no, he continued to rape her.

The next morning, she attempted suicide. A friend of hers took her to the hospital and phoned Simmons to ask him to pay for her hospital bills, but he refused.

“That’s a lot of money for one night,’” the friend told THR. “That stuck with me. It was really foul.”

Simmons denied this allegations.

Unfortunately, she was allegedly sexual assaulted by Calloway 12 years later. Abrams said that Calloway was very flirty towards her in events leading up to that December night in 2006 where he exposed himself to her while taking her home.  While in his car, she said he exposed himself to her saying “Do you see what you do to me?” After telling him to tuck his penis back in his pants, they pulled up to her building and he forcibly kissed her, fondled her breasts and put her hand on his penis until he ejaculated. Abrams said he called her soon after to apologize.

The former 106 & Park host denied any of this happened. Calloway responded to the sexual assault allegations against him via his attorney to the Huffington Post.

“I was disappointed to read the false allegations about me in The Hollywood Reporter. As I have maintained from the beginning, these allegations are not true. When I was first notified about these allegations by law enforcement more than a decade ago, I fully cooperated from the beginning and the case was dismissed. THR chose to publish these meritless allegations without a thorough investigation of the facts. I intend to vigorously defend my reputation against these false accusations and will not let this cause further harm to my family.”

Abrams tried to reveal this allegation on NBC but said it was hindered by the network’s “slow walking” of the story with “stupid” requests.

Despite these setbacks, Abrams refused to be silenced and decided to still come forward with her story.

“Stories are being silenced and it doesn’t matter how much information, how much corroboration and evidence that you have. You can do everything the right way and you’ll still be shut down because a news organization doesn’t want to take a risk and face a potential lawsuit, which perpetuates the abuse of power and empowers men like Simmons to say they’re going to be OK.”

This is the first sexual assault allegation against Calloway. As for Simmons, over a dozen women have come forward accusing him of rape.
