A “sex-positive, polyamorous pansexual,” Nola is at the center of a love quartet, simultaneously dating Greer Childs (Cleo Anthony), a “spontaneous” model; Jamie Overstreet (Lyriq Bent), an older businessman that cares “like no other”; and Mars Blackmon (Anthony Ramos) who makes Darling laugh “til my sides hurt.”
Mars, a fun-loving, yet immature jokester, was played by Lee in the original black-and-white pic.
