50 Cent Claps Back at ‘Let’s Rap About It’ Over Diddy Docuseries
You know when 50 Cent drops something, it’s going to make waves. His four-part Netflix docuseries on Diddy definitely did, and now he’s hitting back hard at critics from the “Let’s Rap About It” podcast.
On Monday, December 15, the rap mogul took to Instagram, unleashing a series of posts targeting Jim Jones, Fabolous, Dave East, and Maino. These artists had shared their take on the documentary. 50 Cent‘s initial slide defined “squatter,” setting the tone for what was to come.
He then posted an image of the four podcast hosts. Fifty also included screenshots, claiming Jim Jones lost his New Jersey home. Plus, he brought up old photos of Jones with Sean Combs and Pusha T, stirring the pot even further.
In his typical no-holds-barred caption, 50 Cent wrote:
“These guys are squatters, they owe 250,000 k for the space they are filming their podcast,”
“These bums are trying to win best dressed award and can’t pay their bills.” Ouch.
Podcast Hosts Didn’t Hold Back on Diddy Documentary
In another Instagram post, 50 Cent shared a clip from “Let’s Rap About It” where the hosts dissected “Sean Combs: The Reckoning.” Jim Jones chimed in, famously calling the series a “mockumentary.”
Jones also tagged 50 Cent’s behavior as “petty” for making Diddy look “weak.” Fabolous jumped in, questioning if the documentary was even “wrong” or legal.
Fifty’s response? Another direct hit on Instagram. “I understand Diddy was your hero, stay down with him,” he wrote. Then came the unforgettable line, “I don’t care if you let him play with ya butt, then act like you don’t remember. 🤨” You know the internet went wild.
Maino Fires Back at 50 Cent
Maino, a co-host of “Let’s Rap About It,” wasn’t about to stay silent. He quickly shared his own statement online.
Maino started: “Meet Killer Curly Ladies & Gentlemen…He Helped Me Get My Record Deal Before So Imma Always Be Grateful, So It’s Gone Hurt Me To Drag This Na To Hell! 🤦🏾♂️. Fck Is The Problem Curtis? What Has Your G Unit G- String In a Bunch Na? Is It The Btch Or The Diabetes? But Let’s Rap About It!!!” The back-and-forth was definitely top-tier social media entertainment.
The Netflix Docuseries and Diddy’s Legal Battle
This whole drama erupted after 50 Cent dropped his four-part Netflix series, diving deep into the legal troubles surrounding Sean “Diddy” Combs. Fifty even hinted that more allegations didn’t make the final cut and plans to release that footage on YouTube.
Diddy and his legal team have been quick to deny all claims in the documentary. They slammed the series as a “shameless hit piece” and even sent Netflix a cease-and-desist letter.
Word on the street is Netflix isn’t backing down. Now, Diddy is reportedly gearing up to sue the streaming giant, seeking millions in damages. The saga continues!
