Benzino is speaking out after a frightening incident involving his ex and a friend left him hospitalized and possibly facing surgery.
During a recent interview with Real Lyfe Productions, the rapper and media personality described what he says happened when he tried to stop a vehicle from leaving with his young son. According to Benzino, the situation escalated quickly at a school bus stop.
“I hit my head, twisted my neck up my back, f–ked my arm up,” he said. “I’m gonna have to get surgery on my arm, on my shoulder, and possibly my elbow.”
Benzino said he was waiting for his child when he saw the boy being forced into a vehicle driven by his ex’s friend, identified as Diamond. He claims he jumped onto the car to intervene.
“All I see is Zino getting thrown on the other side,” he recalled. “I jumped on the car. I put my body on the car towards the back door.”
He said the vehicle suddenly accelerated while he was still holding on.
“I just heard the car rev up and take off,” he said. “It flung me around, kind of f**ked me up.”
Diamond has denied the accusation and claims Zino fabricated his entire story.
