Halloween 2025 was one for the books! Media Take Out rounded up the most talked-about celebrity costumes of the season. From full-on Hollywood glam to subtle shade and nostalgic throwbacks, the stars didn’t just dress up — they showed out. Y’all know we love to see it!
Peep the looks that had everyone buzzing:
Meagan Good & Jonathan Majors — Egyptian Royalty
Our fave Hollywood couple, Meagan Good and Jonathan Majors, came through drippin’ as regal Egyptian royalty! We’re talking gold crowns, turquoise jewels, and Cleopatra-inspired glam. The internet went wild, crowning them “King and Queen of Halloween”.
Kayla Nicole — Toni Braxton
Travis Kelce’s ex, Kayla Nicole, served looks AND shade, recreating Toni Braxton’s “You’re Makin’ Me High” vibe. This was pure early 90s black girl magic. It was a perfect mix of sexy and classy — and some fans couldn’t help but think it was a subtle message to Taylor Swift. Either way, Kayla understood the assignment.
Sherri Shepherd — Steve Urkel
Talk show host Sherri Shepherd had us cracking up as Steve Urkel from Family Matters. Suspenders, high-water jeans, the whole nine yards. She nailed the mannerisms perfectly. Fans said it was “pure comedy gold.” Did I do that?
Teyana Taylor — “Pregnant Lady”
Only Teyana Taylor could make a “pregnant woman” costume high fashion. The belly, the maternity fit, the realistic glow—so convincing fans had to double-check if it was a joke or a baby announcement!
Tamera Mowry & Family — The Wizard of Oz
Tamera Mowry and her whole crew went all-in on The Wizard of Oz! Tamera as the Scarecrow, hubby as the Tin Man, the kids as Dorothy and the Cowardly Lion. Some folks joked the “no brain, no heart” theme was a little too on point—but the costumes were undeniably fire.
Al Roker — Mr. T
TV legend Al Roker shut down the internet as Mr. T! Gold chains to the mohawk, Al absolutely crushed it. The people called it “the most unexpectedly perfect costume of the year.” I pity the fool who didn’t appreciate this.
Coco Jones — Dreamgirls Diva
Singer Coco Jones slayed as a Dreamgirl. The sparkly gown, curls, old-Hollywood glam—fans were seeing Diana Ross and Jennifer Hudson. As one fan put it, “Coco Jones is the moment — period.” And we agree!
Taraji P. Henson — Janet Jackson
Taraji P. Henson gave us music royalty, channeling Janet Jackson! Hair, outfit, stage-ready energy—Taraji embodied the pop icon. Some called it one of her best looks EVER.
Keke Palmer — “Honey”
Keke Palmer took us back to the early 2000s, channeling Jessica Alba’s character from the dance movie Honey. Crop top, low-rise jeans, killer moves—Keke brought the nostalgia and proved she’s still got the rhythm! Come thru KeKe!
Latto — Faith Evans
Rapper Latto channeled the R&B icon, Faith Evans. Rocking the iconic red hair and sultry ‘90s style. Fans loved how authentic her look was — “Faith Evans would definitely approve,” one wrote.
Mariah Carey — Anime Doll
You know Mariah Carey had to go all out in fantasy! The music legend transformed into a Japanese anime doll, oversized eyes, pastel makeup, couture costume straight out of a dream sequence. Fans called it “whimsical, weird, and totally Mariah.”
Janelle Monte – Bettlejuice
Leave it to Janelle to come up with a spot on bizarre Halloween outfit. She nailed it.
Lala Anthony – Beautiful blue bride
LaLa Anthony looked gorgeous in her heavily blue makeup and her gorgeous bridal gown. Damson Idris looked very sexy in his bridegroom tux.

This year’s celebrity Halloween lineup was pure magic, From high-glam transformations to clever nostalgia! It’s proof that stars still love to turn a costume into a full-blown moment.
