Well, well, well… Dame Dash is officially entering the chat, and he’s got some things to say about Cam’ron’s recent remarks. Remember when Cam basically suggested Dame’s financial moves weren’t exactly…goals? Yeah, Dame heard that.
Earlier this year, Cam didn’t hold back, claiming Dame “spends crazy” and could be “set for life if he knew how to manage his money.” The internet, of course, went wild, debating whether Cam was just spitting facts or stirring the pot. It’s Harlem, honey, what do you expect?
Now, Dame’s setting the record straight, BlkCosmo style. On the latest “Bosses Take Losses” episode, the Roc-A-Fella co-founder explained he had to respond because Cam brought it to the public square.
“This isn’t the Cam I know or cosigned,” Dame stated, making it crystal clear. “Talking about another man’s pockets? That’s just not a conversation we’d usually have. To me, talking about people when they’re not in the room is just…coward sh*t.” Real talk!
Dame also tackled that old interview clip where Cam laughed about a private Roc-A-Fella presidency convo. Dame believes that played a role in the label’s unraveling. Was it intentional? Dame’s wondering. And then, he dropped this gem:
“I wonder why Cam hasn’t had a hit record since leaving Roc-A-Fella,” Dame questioned. Shade? Maybe. Truth? Possibly.
Given that Dame’s finances and business decisions often grab headlines, the Harlem icon isn’t letting Cam’s opinions slide. So, the million-dollar question: Was Cam out of line, or was he just speaking his truth? Only time will tell where this goes. Stay tuned, BlkCosmo fam!
