Just a week before Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs was rocked with yet another set of sex crime charges including sex trafficking and transportation to engage in prostitution, the embattled mogul has gone on record to vehemently deny the claims of the accuser.

As reported, the 55-year-old – already behind bars and awaiting trial for previous charges of sex trafficking, racketeering, and transportation to engage in prostitution – was hit with additional counts of the former two crimes.

The new charges are related to a plaintiff referred to as “Victim 2” and allege Diddy “recruited, enticed, harbored, transported, provided, obtained, advertised, maintained, patronized and solicited [Victim-2], and attempted, aided and abetted, and willfully caused [Victim-2], to engage in commercial sex acts, knowing and in reckless disregard of the fact that Victim-2 was engaging in commercial sex acts as a result of force, fraud, and coercion.”

Appearing at a hearing in Manhattan on Monday (April 14), Combs pleaded not guilty to the new accusations – echoing his sentiment about the preceding charges.

“These are not new allegations or new accusers. These are the same individuals, former long-term girlfriends, who were involved in consensual relationships,” Combs’ attorneys told the press about the new counts. “This was their private sex life, defined by consent, not coercion.”

At writing, jury selection for his forthcoming trial is scheduled to begin on May 5 with opening statements to follow on May 12.
