Okay, fam, let’s talk about Dillon Gabriel. This quarterback’s journey is something else! He balled out at three different schools: first, the UCF Knights back in ’19, then he took his talents to the Oklahoma Sooners in ’22, and most recently, he tore it up with the Oregon Ducks for a season. Talk about a well-traveled brother!
Now, fast forward to the 2025 NFL draft, and our man Dillon Gabriel gets snatched up by the Cleveland Browns in the third round. He started off as the understudy to the seasoned vet Joe Flacco, but you know how it goes – the young blood was hungry. By Week 5, Head Coach Kevin Stefanski saw the fire and gave Gabriel the keys to the offense.
Now that he’s commanding the spotlight, everyone’s buzzing about Gabriel and his beautiful fiancée, Zo Caswell. Black love is in the air!
Gabriel and Caswell have known each other since middle school
These two go way back! Gabriel and Caswell’s love story started way back in middle school. Can you believe it?
“We met in the summer of 6th-to 7th grade actually,” Caswell told Oregon’s KOIN. “Because we were both new to this school. We had a little orientation class. We met gardening, funny enough. He kept coming closer and closer to me, and I was like, ‘Who’s this weird guy?’”
That “weird” guy was Gabriel, who ended up charming Caswell, and the two dated briefly back then. They decided to start dating seriously years later when they were in 11th grade. They uploaded their first Instagram post together in 2018 and have shown plenty of love and support for each other on social media ever since.
When Gabriel and Caswell got engaged
Caswell has been right by Gabriel’s side since his high school days as a quarterback, and the athlete previously spoke about how important it is to have her in his corner as he deals with the pressures that come with the position.
“When you can come home to a person that just understands you for being you and you don’t necessarily have to say anything, you appreciate that,” Gabriel explained.
Caswell talked about that pressure as well, saying, “We forget to have fun at times. There’s so much pressure. You always want to win, you want to be perfect, but you want to look back in 20 years and be like, ‘Wow, that was a really cool time in my life.’”
On Sept. 1, 2024, Gabriel got down on one knee and asked his longtime partner to marry him. Caswell happily accepted, and the couple shared their happy news in a joint Instagram post with a carousel of photos, including a close-up of the ring and a snap of the pair embracing.
Caswell has already made headlines for her custom game-day outfits
Gabriel’s fiancée is a social media influencer.
She has over 9,700 followers on Instagram and more than 25,000 on TikTok. Caswell posts about everything from makeup tips to fashion to her travel experiences.
She has also shown off her unique game-day looks and has even made headlines for her custom outfits in support of her man.
