Jamie Foxx is teaming up with Fox for an exciting new slate of television projects.
Fox Entertainment Studios has secured an exclusive first-look deal with the Oscar-winning star and his production company, Foxxhole Productions.
The multi-year agreement will see Foxx developing and executive producing both scripted and unscripted series projects.
Under the deal, Fox Entertainment Studios will have the first priority on any scripted series, while maintaining exclusive rights to Foxx’s unscripted projects and producing services.
This pact comes on the heels of Foxx’s recent successes, including his Golden Globe-nominated comedy special and the critically acclaimed Luther: Never Too Much’ documentary which he executive produced.
Fernando Szew, President and Head of Fox Entertainment Studios, said in a statement:
“We’re thrilled to launch this exciting new creative partnership with Jamie Foxx, one of the most dynamic and versatile talents in entertainment.”
The collaboration builds on the strong working relationship Foxx already shares with the network. He currently co-hosts and executive produces the popular Fox music game show ‘Beat Shazam.‘
