Kristy Sarah Scott Files For Divorce From Desmond Scott, Cites Alleged Infidelity
The news first broke on January 9 via TMZ, reporting that social media’s beloved couple, The Scotts, had called it quits. Kristy Sarah Scott filed for divorce in Harris County, Texas, on December 30, 2025. In her court documents, she cited alleged infidelity and stated there was no reasonable chance of reconciliation, also noting the couple would soon stop living together.
This couple, who first met when Kristy was 14 and Desmond 15, tied the knot in 2014. Together, they welcomed two sons and recently finished building what they called their dream home. Their separation sent shockwaves across social media. Millions of fans followed their fun, often chaotic, family life through videos covering pranks, fashion, lifestyle, and food.
Beyond their personal brand, they also co-own a production company, Meant To Be Films. This company specializes in wedding videography and storytelling. It’s still up in the air how the business will navigate these divorce proceedings.
Desmond Scott Breaks Silence After Kristy Sarah Files To Divorce, He Apologizes After Alleged Infidelity
Days after the divorce headlines, Desmond Scott finally broke his silence. He seemed to confirm Kristy Sarah’s accusations and issued an apology to his family and their legions of fans. On Saturday, January 10, he shared a message:
“I want to begin by apologizing to Kristy, our family, and everyone who has been impacted by the public attention surrounding this situation. I know this news has been disappointing for many, and I’m truly sorry for the hurt it has caused.
Kristy is the mother of my children, and that will always come first. I remain fully committed to being an active, present, and loving parent to our boys, as I have always been.
Kristy and I faced challenges and made sincere efforts to work through them. Toward the end of 2025,I wanted to separate, and | had conversations with Kristy regarding this. During this period, I made choices that I am not proud of. I took responsibility for those actions, I shared this with her directly and personally, and ultimately we decided to divorce.
l ask for privacy and compassion as we navigate this difficult chapter of our lives. Thank you to everyone who has supported us over the years. I’m grateful for that support and will continue sharing my love for cooking and the things that inspire me. I hope you’ll continue that journey with me.”
Kristy Sarah Confirms She’s Keeping Family’s Newly-Built Dream Home After Filing To Divorce Desmond Scott
On Sunday, January 11, Kristy Sarah shared one of her first Instagram posts since filing for divorce. She posted an “ootn” (outfit of the night) video to her Story. Then, on Wednesday, January 14, her first Instagram feed post arrived, showcasing a new bob haircut and, importantly, confirming she’s keeping the family’s recently built dream home.
The post featured photos of her casually lounging on her kitchen island. Her caption was short and sweet: “Same address.” Interestingly, her estranged husband was among those who liked the post, which many interpreted as his approval of her decision.
The journey to this dream home was well-documented. Kristy Sarah started sharing videos of the building process back in September 2023. Fans watched as she and Desmond “casually stomped on the grounds” of their future residence, seeing the construction unfold from breaking ground.
She continued to share updates throughout the years. By early August 2025, The Scotts had finally moved in. However, that joy was short-lived, as Kristy Sarah filed for divorce by the end of December 2025.
