Lil Pump Goes NUCLEAR On J. Cole — Even Dragging His Wife Into The Feud
The long running tension between Lil Pump and J. Cole just exploded again, and this time things got extremely personal.
THE MIAMI CLUB INCIDENT
According to Lil Pump, the drama started at a nightclub in Miami. Pump claims that J. Cole allegedly walked out of the club after the DJ began playing several Lil Pump songs.
Pump said the DJ played four of his tracks, including his breakout hit Gucci Gang, which he says caused Cole to leave the venue.
Pump mocked the situation in a now deleted Instagram post.
“J Cole Miami know what time it is I ain’t even there and he cleared the room they played 4 of my songs and he left,” Pump wrote. “Rent free. Imagine beefing with the aux.”
THE RANT
Pump followed that up with a video rant where he unleashed a barrage of insults aimed at Cole. In the clip, Pump mocked the rapper for allegedly leaving the club and insulted him repeatedly.
He also escalated things by threatening Cole and saying that if he saw him in Miami the confrontation would be immediate.

DRAGGING J. COLE’S WIFE
But the moment that really shocked fans came in a second post that was also quickly deleted.
Pump posted a photo of Cole’s wife, Melissa Heholt, and insulted her appearance, referring to her with a cruel comment comparing her to a “burnt Mrs. Potato Head.” The post immediately drew backlash online, with many fans saying the rapper crossed the line by dragging a family member into the feud.
Some critics also argued that the remark carried racial undertones. In recent months, observers have pointed to a growing trend of online “trolling” culture among younger men, where insults aimed at Black public figures sometimes take on racialized language or imagery.
Because Melissa Heholt is a Black woman, some fans felt the comment crossed into territory that appeared racially insensitive. Others simply said it was disrespectful regardless of intent.
A FEUD THAT NEVER REALLY DIED
The tension between Pump and Cole dates back to 2018 when Cole released 1985 (Intro to The Fall Off), which many listeners interpreted as criticism of younger “SoundCloud era” rappers.
Later that year, the two appeared to squash their issues during a sit down conversation, and for a while the feud seemed to cool off.
But Pump’s latest outburst suggests the rivalry may not be completely buried.
J. COLE HASN’T RESPONDED
As of now, J. Cole has remained silent about the incident.
And if history is any guide, he may keep it that way.
Cole has built a reputation for staying out of social media drama, often choosing to respond through music rather than online arguments.
Still, after the insults aimed at his wife, fans are wondering whether this time the Dreamville rapper might finally respond.
