Things just got more complicated in the aftermath of Offset‘s recent shooting — because now Lil Tjay is caught up in the situation.
According to reports, Tjay was arrested Monday night in Florida and booked into Broward County Jail on a misdemeanor charge of disorderly conduct-affray, which basically means police believe he was involved in a public fight. This development adds another layer to an already messy incident.
Authorities say the altercation happened shortly before the shooting incident outside the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood, where Offset was later struck and hospitalized.
Law enforcement claims Tjay was part of a physical confrontation at the scene, though details about what sparked the fight remain unclear. Another individual was also detained, but as of now, no additional charges have been filed against that person.
Tjay, 24, was processed and even posed for a mugshot before being held on a $500 bond.
Offset was shot near the casino’s valet area but is in stable condition and receiving medical care. His team confirmed the injuries were non-life-threatening, and authorities say the situation was quickly contained.
While it’s still unclear how directly the fight connects to the shooting, police are continuing to investigate the entire situation. With multiple people detained and questions still unanswered, this case is far from over.
