EXCLUSIVE: Nia Long Swirls? Actress Spotted With Mystery “Wealthy” Caucasian Businessman In Atlanta… Is This The End Of Her ‘Black Men Only’ Streak? (DETAILS)

Nia Long has been the blueprint for Black beauty and romance for three decades, but we’re hearing that her latest “Best Man” is a total departure from her usual type.

Nia is currently in Atlanta, Georgiaβ€”the new Hollywood of the Southβ€”where she just wrapped filming on the highly anticipated Netflix romantic drama Don’t Ever Wonder alongside her legendary Love Jones co-star Larenz Tate. But while her on-screen romance is with Larenz, her off-screen heart is reportedly being won over by a mystery man who doesn’t look like her usual “type.”

The Mystery Man: Wealthy, Generous, and… White?

Sources on the Atlanta set tell Media Take Out that Nia has been “glowing” lately and hasn’t been shy about sharing why. She’s reportedly told close friends and crew members that she’s dating an independently wealthy businessman who is “everything she needs at this stage of her life.”

But here’s the kicker: The man is Caucasian.

    • The Background: We’re told he’s a high-level entrepreneur who splits his time between Europe and Los Angeles.
    • The Vibe: Nia is describing him as “kind, generous, and extremely attentive.” After the very public drama she went through with ex-fiancΓ© Ime Udoka in 2022, Nia is said to be prioritizing “peace and consistency” over everything else.

    “The Best Man Holiday” Premonition?

Fans might recall that Nia’s character, Jordan Armstrong, famously dated a white man (played by Eddie Cibrian) in the 2013 hit The Best Man Holiday. At the time, Nia told BET that she actually pushed for the interracial storyline!

“We’re living in a modern world where it happens and it’s okay,” Nia said back then. “It’s no disrespect to any Black man… but if it works for you, embrace it.”

It looks like life might finally be imitating art for the 55-year-old icon.

    A New Chapter In 2026

2026 is shaping up to be a massive year for Nia. Not only is she headlining her own Netflix romance, but she is set to play Katherine Jackson in the massive Michael Jackson biopic, Michael, hitting theaters on April 24, 2026. Between her skyrocketing career and her new “European bae,” Nia is living her absolute best life.

Is Nia Long the latest sister to find love outside the race, or is this just a “spring fling” while she’s working in the A? Let us know in the comments!
