Martin Luther King Jr. described Birmingham as probably the most thoroughly segregated city in the United States. The city earned the nickname Bombingham after at least 21 bombings targeted Black homes and churches in the eight years leading up to 1963. Boosie Badazz is posting receipts of his alleged conversations with pardon brokers who couldn't secure him clemency from President Trump. The texts show a chaotic string of messages full of typos from one of the men he claims he paid $600,000. The rapper posted screenshots on his X account Monday, which appear to be communications between him and Jack Burkman, one of the alleged pardon brokers. The messages were exchanged between November 2025 and February 2026, with Jack assuring Boosie that his team was working on getting him a Trump pardon. Ultimately, Boosie wants his money back and is now suing Jack and fellow political operative Jacob Wohl to recoup his cash.
