Kai Cenat and AMP Entertainment are facing serious legal consequences after a viral hide-and-seek livestream at a San Antonio mall went wrong. A security guard is suing for over $1 million, claiming he was punched during the August 2, 2025 incident at the Shops at Rivercenter.
Security officer Don White says the group had limited permission to film in certain areas but expanded into restricted zones after the mall closed. When White and other staff told them to leave, things escalated. Kai Cenat and his crew kept streaming, leading to a confrontation that left White needing emergency-room treatment.
White’s lawsuit names AMP Entertainment, Cenat, Duke Dennis, producer Henry Wolf, content manager Joshua Pujols, and Lavoune Clarke—a member of AMP’s security team. Clarke allegedly punched White in the mouth during the confrontation. White is seeking damages for medical expenses, pain and suffering, and lost earning capacity—a serious claim that speaks to the real harm caused.
Clarke’s attorney, Zachary Green, maintains his client’s innocence. “Mr. Clarke has and continues to maintain his innocence pertaining to these claims of wrongdoing,” Green stated.
Duke Dennis was arrested that night on misdemeanor charges, which were later dismissed after completing a pretrial diversion program. Clarke, however, still faces pending felony charges. This situation shows how quickly a content creation moment can turn into a legal nightmare with real consequences for everyone involved.
