The Congressional Black Caucus Institute announced SO VOTE, a civic participation initiative aimed at mobilizing low-propensity and rural Black voters through community outreach, partnerships and digital engagement. The multimillion-dollar initiative will build on proven voter-mobilization strategies while testing new approaches, investing in local organizations and connecting with folks through HBCU campuses, neighborhood cookouts and social media.

Diddy’s Attorneys File Motion to Withdraw Over Fees

Three attorneys from Sher Tremonte LLP are seeking to withdraw as counsel for Diddy in a civil suit against Nexstar Media, citing unpaid legal fees and a breakdown in communication. The lawyers claim Diddy has failed to pay a substantial balance of attorney's fees and expenses, with his last payment coming over six months ago. However, Diddy's spokesperson counters that he switched lawyers because they were overcharging him with unapproved bills. Diddy was recently sentenced to over four years in prison after conviction on two counts of transporting individuals across state lines for prostitution.

Boosie Badazz is posting receipts of his alleged conversations with pardon brokers who couldn't secure him clemency from President Trump. The texts show a chaotic string of messages full of typos from one of the men he claims he paid $600,000.
