From actresses with starring roles to TV writers, entertainment journalists, producers and boss ladies working behind the scenes for some of your favorite networks and streaming services, sistas stepped out for the 2026 Emmys. And they had good reason to. If you root for everybody Black, there were a number of really talented Black men and women nominated and hoping to take home the statue. From Zendaya getting a nomination for her last season of Euphoria, to actress Joy Sunday getting her first nomination for DTF: St. Louis, and regulars like Ayo Edebiri, Quinta Brunson and more, it’s a big pool of people to root for. But whatever the outcome, they’re already winners in our book. Why? Because they managed to turn heads in the most stylish of getups on the red carpet. In an array of eclectic shades and fabrics, from ruffles to silk, sparkles and bows, tiered looks and gowns with pockets, you can find some red hot looks from Black women happy to show up and show out for Emmy night. Take a look at how Black women (and one gorgeous Black girl) stepped on the carpet for TV’s biggest event.
