The Vince Reunion Is Finally Here

Basketball fans, the reunion we’ve been waiting for is finally happening. Vince Carter and Tracy McGrady, two of the most electrifying players in NBA history—and real-life cousins—are teaming up for a groundbreaking new project. The duo has officially announced the launch of their new video podcast, Cousins, set to premiere exclusively on the AMP Sports network.

    The Game Changes, Family Doesn’t
It’s hard to believe it’s been decades since Vinsanity and T-Mac dazzled crowds together in Toronto. Now, they are bringing that same chemistry to the microphone. The new show, titled Cousins, promises to be more than just another sports podcast. According to the announcement, the show will offer “up-close, personal conversations” that pull back the curtain on their legendary careers and the bond that ties them together.

“Tracy and I have seen this game from every angle, as players, as family, and as fans of the current era,” Carter said in a statement. “With Cousins, we get to give fans the real stories behind the highlights they’ve watched a million times and the defining moments that shaped our careers, while also breaking down today’s game.”

    What to Expect from ‘Cousins’
Set to premiere on January 28, the weekly series will feature the Hall of Famers breaking down current NBA action, sharing untold stories from the locker room, and interviewing guests from the worlds of sports and culture. The show aims to blend high-level basketball analysis with the nostalgia of the early 2000s era that Carter and McGrady helped define.

McGrady emphasized that this won’t be a standard analytical show. “This isn’t your typical podcast,” T-Mac added. “It’s up-close, personal conversations between two players who helped shape one of the most electric eras in basketball.”

    A Family Bond Revealed
The title Cousins is a nod to one of the most unique stories in NBA lore. As many die-hard fans know, Carter and McGrady didn’t even know they were related until they were nearly in the NBA. They discovered they were second cousins during a family reunion just before McGrady was drafted in 1997. That revelation added a layer of depth to their time as teammates on the Toronto Raptors, a period that is still revered by fans today.

    Where to Listen
The Cousins podcast is a major addition to Sinclair’s AMP Sports podcast division. Fans can catch the video version and full audio episodes starting January 28 across major platforms including Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and YouTube. Get ready for unfiltered takes, legendary stories, and the undeniable connection that only family can bring.
