Amber Rose recently revealed some shocking details about her ongoing beef with reality TV star Joseline Hernandez during an appearance on Shannon Sharpe’s Club Shay Shay podcast. According to Rose, the tension between the two women began after she rejected Hernandez’s sexual advances.
On Club Shay Shay (Club Shay Shay is a weekly podcast hosted by Shannon Sharpe) Amber says Joseline tried to seduce her on multiple occasions and begged her for one time; also asking if they could do it in front of her husband.
After Amber declined multiple times, the reality star says Joseline started bullying her and accusing her of acting white which eventually led to the fight on College Hill.
Joseline however denied all claims and threaten to sue Amber Rose for defamation. However in response, Joseline wrote “This DEFORMATION of my character will not go unseen and I will not rest until I’m 100% vindicated.”
Now both women are threatening to sue each for defamation.

A love and loss that spanned generations For those who have followed Hip Hop history, Evans’ words hit differently. She wasn’t just Biggie’s widow; she was part of a complicated but undeniable love story that played out in real time – one filled with passion, pain and, ultimately, a loss that shook the culture. Through it all, Wallace remained a pillar, not only for the late Brooklyn emcee, but also for those who truly loved him.
It’s no secret that Biggie’s death left wounds that never fully healed, but Wallace made sure her son’s name would never fade into the past. She and Evans remained connected through the years, bound by the weight of what they lost and the responsibility of what remained. In many ways, the singer’s message was an acknowledgment of the quiet strength Wallace carried for so long. The same strength that allowed the world to remember Biggie as a rapper, son, and icon.
The guardian of B.I.G.’s legacy Wallace’s passing was first reported by REVOLT back in February, with confirmation from the Monroe County Coroner that she died of natural causes while in hospice care in Stroudsburg, PA. In a statement, her family called her their matriarch, thanking the public for their support and asking for time to grieve.
It was Wallace who played a vital role in ensuring her legendary son would live on in both spirit and impact. She took control of Biggie’s estate, growing its value from an estimated $10 million in 1997 to a reported $160 million today. She became the face of his legacy, the conservator of his narrative and the voice of reason when sensationalized stories threatened to overshadow his artistry.
Behind the business moves and posthumous releases, she was simply a mother who had to bury her child. In a 2021 interview with Entertainment Weekly, she shared how listening to her son’s music helped keep him close. “After his passing, I heard a lot of positive and negative things that were being said about him. As a mother, I only wanted to hear positive things because I’m biased,” she reflected. Want to make a statement? Leave a comment about this here!

Tasha K was able to get out of bankruptcy with a payment plan … but she still has to pay up on the $3.9M judgment she lost in her case against Cardi B … this according to new legal docs obtained by BlkCosmo Hip Hop.On Wednesday, a bankruptcy judge signed off on Tasha K’s plan … Tasha K will make payments to Cardi from her income she brings in from her projects over time to satisfy the judgment Cardi got in her lawsuit against the blogger.
The “Bodak Yellow” rapper’s inner circle also got some protection in the form of a non-disparagement clause, which bars Tasha from making any derogatory or defamatory comments about Cardi and her family. To ensure things go smoothly, Tasha will also have to submit copies of her tax returns to Cardi’s lawyer and file quarterly reports with the court about the income she’s generating while the plan is in effect.
If you recall, there was even a time when Cardi was considering letting Tasha off the hook … but it looks like that time has since passed.
The ‘Unwine’ podcast creator seemed rather relieved when she posted up with her attorney on social media when the plan was being finalized … this has been brewing since March 2019!!!

The Vision One-Eleven “walks the line between time machine and spaceship.”
In looking to the future, Mercedes-AMG has drawn from the past, straddling the line between the old and the new with the utterly impressive Mercedes-AMG Vision One-Eleven electric supercar, just announced by the performance sub-brand (as part of more than 20 forthcoming Mercedes rides, it should be noted).
The concept, the automaker notes, “walks the line between time machine and spaceship,” with the sleek looks and futuristic design cues to match. The stunning new set of wheels draws heavily from the 1960s- and 1970s-era Mercedes-Benz C 111, with gullwing doors and a laundry list of features that made it “a revolutionary of its time,” the automaker added.
(Mercedes-AMG)
According to Robb Report, the vehicle would be the quickest AMG to date, boasting brand-new, proprietary battery technology and an axial-flux motor, all in a bid to “unlock unseen potential in electric performance driving,” Mercedes-Benz said in an announcement detailing the fresh set of wheels.
(Mercedes-AMG)
The One-Eleven’s interior is as bold and innovative as its fresh, copper orange exterior, with seats that fit flush to the floor and design detailing that has more in common with a luxury lounge than a typical sports car seat.
(Mercedes-AMG)
There’s also the option to select seats designed in Race mode, which channels Mercedes-AMG’s F1 seat designs. The Lounge seating arrangement, meanwhile, is possible thanks to a more compact motor design, also billed as “exceptionally powerful” despite its pared-down size.
(Mercedes-AMG)
The interior is complemented by a large-format, 8-bit pixel display screen that’s also compatible with an included Magic Leap 2 augmented reality headset. Further cementing its presence as a luxury lifestyle auto brand, the ritzy ride is complemented by its own “LIMITED EDITION 1 OF 111 collection” that includes apparel, a weekender bag and sunglasses.
(Mercedes-AMG)
Every detail has been thoughtfully considered, including a host of polished aluminum elements throughout, down to the accelerator, brake pedals, steering wheel spokes and even the harness buckle. Mercedes-Benz notes the release is especially forward-thinking: “When the engineers of Stuttgart craft their vision into reality, discovering the unknown is the greatest appeal.” Pricing details are scarce at the moment, but a tantalizing glimpse into the future can be found online at Mercedes-Benz.

The Andrés Brugal Edition 02 Sipping Rum is limited to just 416 bottles.
There’s perhaps a perception that the alchemy and science behind luxury spirits doesn’t always find its way into the rum world, but Andrés Brugal is challenging those perceptions tastefully with each limited-time offering. The latest to follow suit? The new Andrés Brugal Edition 02, billed as an “ultra-premium expression” and available in seriously limited quantities globally, Maxim can exclusively reveal.
Crafted under the care of Maestra Ronera Jassil Villanueva Quintana, the rum (with just 416 bottles on the market globally) gets its character through, as the producer says, “meticulous craftsmanship, exclusive cask selection, and the legacy it embodies.” More specifically, it levels up from past Brugal expressions by using liquid from just four single casks (three of them ex-bourbon American Oak casks, and one new American Oak), as opposed to a mix of cask types (and a larger quantity of spirit). The process is also billed as a “a rare and precise method that ensures unparalleled complexity and depth,” quite the tantalizing prospect in a category often dominated by large-scale producers.
(Brugal Rum)
Housed in a handblown crystal decanter in a beautiful wooden display case, the release toasts to Brugal’s role in pioneering premium rum worldwide, an effort that dates back to early post-Prohibition days (and indeed, the company’s 1888 founding). The bespoke wooden travel-inspired case is even adorned with a map of America in a nod to the globetrotting efforts of its Maestros Roneros (rum masters), but even more impressive is the “radiant golden amber hue” and “rich complexity” of the spirit within.
A lucky few will experience aroma notes of fresh vanilla pods, brown sugar and toasted pecans, along with hits of citrus, followed by a sense of richness, plus baking spice and caramelized banana on the palate. Vanilla and spice shine through in a long, dry finish. If it sounds unlike any rum you’ve yet experienced, there’s good reason for that: Few producers undertake Brugal’s taxing methods.
(Brugal Rum)
Brugal (part of the Edrington portfolio, which includes luxury purveyors like The Macallan Scotch) is no stranger to carefully crafted luxury rum. In October 2022, the producer shipped just 50 bottles of its most expensive rum ever to the United States in the first wave of the Andrés Brugal Edition series. The first offering leaned heavily on a combination of double-aged family reserves and first-fill Bourbon and Oloroso Sherry casks, but the focus shifts internationally with the debut of the second collection. Brugal is no stranger to experimentation, having used the likes of barrels toasted with cacao beans to add further subtlety and depth to Brugal rum releases.
(Brugal Rum)
Medium toasting on the bourbon casks selected for this particular release unlocks smoky oak notes, plus caramel and toffee, a delicate interplay alongside the use of new American oak casks (the company says those casks lend themselves to “a richer structure and fuller body” for the rum).
(Brugal Rum)
If a premium bourbon goes into (and exits) one cask, and then a luxury rum follows suit for aging thereafter, the results are bound to be exceptional (and at the very least, distinctive). With utterly gorgeous packaging and a deep sense of care and respect for the past (and the modern production process), it appears the latest Brugal Rum release goes a long way toward cementing its status as a pioneering luxury rum producer — then and now.

The internship program helps HBCU students succeed in different automotive industry spaces.
A number of HBCU students are driving into success thanks to a robust internship program, “The Driving Force,” driven by Black Automotive Media Group (BAMG).
Launched in 2020, the automotive internship program focuses on educating students from Historically Black Colleges and Universities on potential career opportunities in the automotive industry—but in roles such as marketing, communications, PR, and media. In the past five years, BAMG has welcomed over 300 students into the program, partnering with industry giants like Audi, Volkswagen, and Ford.
The coalition was founded by Kimatni Rawlins, a second-generation automotive magazine publisher of Automotive Rhythms.
Early in his career, Rawlins recognized a gap in securing opportunities for the next generation in the automotive industry. “So we formed this coalition of seven journalists, then out of that came an opportunity to create career opportunities and new talent. So we said HBCUs rarely receive the resources from automotive unless it’s one of the bigger schools,” Rawlins tells Black Cosmopolitan.
After that, it became “why don’t we create an internship program, showcase these students the various opportunities in the industry because you have marketing PR communications —all of these different avenues that they really weren’t thinking of as opportunities…even social media.”
This year, 18 students were accepted from Morgan State in Baltimore and 12 students from North Carolina A&T State University in Greensboro. With each student comes a different driving force for what they hope to gain out of their 10-week internship.
A&T student Malachi Fuller says the program has helped him gain experience and explore career options but “a key takeaway from the internship is that my degree doesn’t limit me,” the Aggie tells BE. “Instead, it opens up a world of possibilities, allowing me to pursue almost anything my heart and mind desire within the industry.”
Howard University partnered with Ford. Student Jawuan Freeman had the opportunity to work with TikTok under its Automotive Sales Track
“Getting my foot in the door is another huge priority for me, as I am neither afraid nor reluctant to start at the bottom and work my way up,” the Bison student says. “All the actions I’m taking now are stepping stones toward my future, ensuring that after I work hard, I can play hard.”
Past participating schools include Florida A&M University, which worked with Hyundai Motor America. In a press release, Hyundai CEO Randy Parker said the partnership reaffirmed “Hyundai’s dedication to fostering diversity within the industry.”
Daniel Weissland, president at Audi of America, said the program is “one small way we are changing and bringing diverse backgrounds and perspectives into the business.”
Rawlins smiles as he celebrates The Driving Force’s success going into the fifth year. “It just kind of blew up,” he says. With diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) programs being under national attack, he said it’s a great accomplishment.
“Actually when we create these programs, diversity programs, we give it like a two-year shelf life because you just don’t know, companies say stuff and then they back out,” he says.
In fact, he hopes to see more interactions from the corporations, adding a robust mentorship element in the future.

Baby boomers seeking well-paying jobs before retirement are having little success.
Baby boomers looking to secure a full-time job ahead of retirement aren’t finding much success in the current job market.
Older Americans who need a few more years of work to achieve financial stability for retirement are facing challenges. Business Insider uncovered this trend through reader surveys on work and retirement.
“I don’t know when I’ll retire because Social Security is not going to be enough,” Gino Marconi, 64, said. “My wife used to say I should do whatever increases my income, but I’m not going to work as an engineer making no money.”
Marconi is one of many older Americans struggling to find stable work in a job market that has grown more challenging in recent years. Excluding a two-month pandemic-related drop in 2020, U.S. businesses are hiring at nearly their lowest rate since 2013, according to data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics.
Marconi earned $60,000 a year as a sales representative for an outdoor supply company until two years ago, when he resigned due to the stress of long days on the road. Since then, he has applied to over 600 remote and in-person positions across various industries and skill levels but suspects he’s being rejected for being overqualified.
He’s tried omitting the years he completed certain degrees and certifications on some applications but to no avail. Marconi said he hopes to retire in a few years and rely on Social Security income, but his plans may change if he is unable to secure higher-paying work.
He is working part-time with a transportation company for a hotel chain and is taking steps to become a full-time insurance agent. He expressed frustration with the application process, recalling an instance when he was stood up for an interview, but remains optimistic while cutting back on unnecessary spending.
“My home is paid off, my cars are paid off,” Marconi said. “But I need to keep going until I get back to work.”
As of January, the unemployment rate for Americans aged 55 and older was just 3%, compared to 4% for all workers. Some older Americans say that while they could technically retire, they are delaying their plans due to concerns that their savings and retirement income won’t be enough if unexpected expenses arise. There are also boomers who want to keep working to stay busy.
“There are the people that love their job, working or even volunteering,” said Deb Whitman, AARP’s chief public policy officer, adding, “There’s sort of a social connection, a sense of purpose and meaning that people get.”

The Journey to ‘I’m That Girl’
In addition to making TIME’s list, Jordan Chiles is adding author to her long list of achievements. Her new memoir, I’m That Girl: Living the Power of My Dreams, gives readers an intimate look into her life beyond the gymnastics mat.
The book highlights her experiences facing racism in a predominantly white sport, battling body image struggles, and overcoming emotional and verbal abuse from a former coach. Chiles has been open about how these experiences led to disordered eating and struggles with mental health.
Despite these challenges, Chiles’ perseverance has made her a role model for young athletes. She credits her family, her teammates—including Simone Biles, and her faith for helping her push through the darkest moments.
