AMC brought the chills and thrills to New York Comic Con this year with an epic lineup of panels from its ever-expanding supernatural universe, and fans of Anne Rice’s gothic world were the first to be fed.

The spotlight opened on Anne Rice’s Talamasca: The Secret Order, which made its NYCC debut with executive producer Mark Johnson (who oversees AMC’s Immortal Universe), showrunner John Lee Hancock, and stars Nicholas Denton and William Fichtner. Special guest Eric Bogosian also joined the stage, with TV Guide’s Damian Holbrook moderating. The panel offered an exclusive first look at the mysterious six-episode series that dives deep into the secret society tasked with monitoring witches, vampires, and other creatures lurking across the globe. Fans can expect Talamasca to premiere with two back-to-back episodes on Sunday, October 26 on AMC and AMC+.

Immediately following, Holbrook returned to moderate another highly anticipated panel: Anne Rice’s The Vampire Lestat. Executive producers Mark Johnson and Hannah Moscovitch were joined by stars Sam Reid, Jacob Anderson, Eric Bogosian, Assad Zaman, and Jennifer Ehle to tease the series’ upcoming third season, set to return in 2026. The crowd was treated to an extended sneak peek of Lestat’s rockstar reign as he embarks on a world tour with his band. Get ready for some serious vampire rock-n-roll!

The panel also dropped major casting news for Season 3, welcoming Sheila Atim (The Woman King) as “Akasha,” Noah Reid (Schitt’s Creek) as “Larry,” Ryan Kattner (Destroy All Neighbors) as “Salamander,” Seamus Patterson (Guillermo del Toro’s Cabinet of Curiosities) as “Alex,” and Sarah Swire (The Boys) as “TC.” Sheila Atim as Akasha? We are so here for this!

Capping off the night, AMC’s The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon stormed the stage with filmmaker Tina Romero moderating a discussion featuring Scott M. Gimple, David Zabel, Greg Nicotero, and Norman Reedus himself. The team premiered exclusive footage from the final two episodes of Season 3, currently airing on AMC and AMC+, following Daryl and Carol’s emotional trek back home. Fans were also treated to a behind-the-scenes look at Season 4, promising even more heart, horror, and hard-fought survival.

With Anne Rice’s immortal creations and The Walking Dead’s undead legends sharing the stage, AMC proved once again that its dark universe continues to reign supreme at Comic Con.
