Muhammad Ali and Joe Frazier weren't always enemies. The two heavyweight champions first met in 1967 and developed a friendship and mutual respect that would later become complicated by their fierce rivalry. Ali refused induction into the U.S. Army in 1967, citing his religious beliefs and opposition to the Vietnam War. Frazier publicly supported his right to refuse the draft and advocated for his reinstatement. Despite this support, Ali returned to boxing declaring that Frazier's belt didn't mean anything. Ali began throwing insults, calling Frazier an Uncle Tom and comparing him to a gorilla, turning their once-friendly relationship into a bitter rivalry.

Rick Ross appeared before Judge Mindy Glazer following his Wednesday arrest on battery charges in Miami. His attorney Bradley Horenstein asked whether the rapper's release could be expedited because of his fame and concerns for his safety in jail. Glazer wasn't impressed by the celebrity argument, telling Ross, "I have no idea who you are." She then added he'd be treated fairly just like everybody else there.

President Donald Trump revealed that he had previously urged Tiger Woods to stop driving himself, telling Fox News that Woods accepted a plea deal suspending his driver's license for five years following his March rollover crash in Florida.

Rick Ross walked out of jail Thursday in Miami insisting he's totally innocent of battery allegations against him. He laid out a weekend itinerary that included Dubai on Friday, Paris on Saturday, and Sunday rigatoni with heavy marinara. Ross plugged his new music on Instagram, declared he's bigger than Justin Bieber, and expects news helicopters over his mansion. He was arrested on felony battery by strangulation charges after an ex-girlfriend accused him of assault. Judge Mindy Glazer told him she had no idea who he was.

Research has found that Black men report barriers to getting regular medical care including lack of insurance, difficulty getting appointments, transportation issues, and negative experiences with the healthcare system. Early stages of the cancer often have no symptoms at all. That's why screening matters.
