Many hip-hop fans thought they'd never see the day that Remy Ma and Papoose, once the epitome of a New York love story, would separate and trade jabs in a brutal, messy breakup. The drama between the estranged couple and Papoose's new girlfriend, boxer Claressa Shields, escalated over the weekend after the "Conceited" rapper posted screen recordings of her old DMs with Shields. What followed was a savage back-and-forth on social media including a Papoose diss track directed at Remy and the drama shows no signs of slowing down.

Ari Fletcher is checking the internet after folks online called her a deadbeat mom, saying social media has the whole grandma situation twisted. Brown and Ryan Michelle Bathe's power couple style to Zendaya's bejeweled gown and pixie cut, the night showcased incredible Black talent. Ayo Edebiri wore a soft blue front with bold red back, while Colman Domingo took risks with a Nehru jacket and purple sash. Sheryl Lee Ralph stunned in a strapless column gown, and Niecy Nash-Betts commanded attention in a bold red mermaid dress. Quinta Brunson wore a gold slip dress, and Tyler James Williams looked sharp in grey and black. LL Cool J stopped traffic in all black, while Tiffany Haddish impressed in a green floor-length gown with a chic bob. Other highlights included Yahya Abdul-Mateen II's grey tuxedo jacket, Chase Infiniti's beaded mermaid gown, and Adrian Dev's embellished jacket bringing major bling to the evening.

Late Migos rapper Takeoff's alleged murderer, Patrick Xavier Clark, is making moves to examine evidence, including the supposed bullets from his fatal shooting. According to court docs obtained by TMZ, Clark wants permission to review certain items in the Houston Police Department's possession. Patrick said he wants an independent expert to examine the evidence to help build his defense ahead of trial, which is scheduled for November.

Longtime V-103 radio host, BET Rap City legend, and Atlanta Hawks announcer Big Tigger is officially a free man after the Fulton County District Attorney's Office declined to prosecute and dropped all criminal charges following his arrest earlier this summer.
