Actress and comedian Tiffany Haddish changed her plea from not guilty to guilty in her DUI case after four years of fighting it. The 46-year-old appeared virtually in a Georgia courtroom on Tuesday to resolve the case stemming from her January 2022 arrest. She must complete time served and 12 months of probation, plus 40 hours of community service through advocacy work with the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office.

Ted Lasso is officially back for its fourth season. While familiar characters made their grand return to the show in the premiere episode on Wednesday, there were a handful of surprising nods to Black culture that delighted fans. The first comes near the top of the show after Lasso is called into the principal's office at his preteen son Henry's school to discuss a disturbing poem he wrote. By the time he and his child's mother got there, they had to stifle their laughter while listening to the words. The joke here is their son's poem was actually him just writing down the lyrics to Public Enemy's 1988 song Black Steel in the Hour of Chaos.

Nicki Minaj posted an odd video filmed in the dark pretending to be Dr. Anthony Fauci as she continues to rail against him publicly. On Friday, the Pink Friday 2 rapper posted a 59-second clip of her acting like she's Fauci, starting off by saying Dear Diary, well the press is hot for me. The video comes after Nicki ranted about Fauci and the COVID vaccines.

Afroman is suing former Adams County Sheriff's Sgt. Brian Newland, claiming his earlier defamation case was baseless and forced him to rack up legal fees and emotional distress. Newland and other deputies sued Afroman in 2023 over social media posts and music videos using surveillance footage from a 2022 search of his Ohio property. The deputies sought 3.9 million dollars combined but a jury found Afroman not liable earlier this year, determining he did not defame them.
