That's the official word from 40 Water himself, who pulled up to the TMZ offices this week to chop it up with Babcock about Daejon Love, the most talked-about story in sports. If he don't know Water, if he don't know 40 Water, and he claims 49er, if I ain't never heard of him or met him, he's not a Niner.

On the R&B Money Podcast, Joe said the project is written and produced entirely by him, recorded with live instruments and strings, and will come out through distribution rather than a label. A vinyl pressing is planned. A single is tentatively set for release this year.

Cassandra Wilson & Black Celebrities Lost in 2026
Grammy Award-winning jazz singer Cassandra Wilson passed away in Jackson, MS, on Sept. 1. Her manager confirmed her death in a statement, saying that the singer-songwriter transitioned peacefully at home, surrounded by family, close friends, and her manager. In addition to 19 solo studio albums, Wilson also recorded with some of the industry's top artists, including The Roots, Wynton Marsalis and Elvis Costello. In 2001, Time called her America's Best Singer. Cassandra Wilson was 70 years old.

Keffe D Guilty in Tupac Murder Case After 30 Years
On Monday, a Clark County jury found Duane 'Keffe D' Davis, 63, guilty of first-degree murder with use of a deadly weapon in the 1996 killing of Tupac Shakur. He is the only person ever charged in the case. Tupac was shot in a drive-by on the Las Vegas Strip on September 7, 1996, and died six days later. He was 25. Prosecutors said Davis was the shot caller in the white Cadillac that night and handed off the gun after his nephew, Orlando 'Baby Lane' Anderson, was beaten by Tupac's group at the MGM Grand hours earlier.

Blueface Purchases $2.2M California Home
Blueface recently moved into a sprawling $2.25 million property in Moorpark, California, just in time for the arrival of his newborn son. The home spans over 5,000 square feet and features five bedrooms, five and a half bathrooms, mountain views and a four-car garage. He was accompanied by Christian Crane of Agents of LA and former Death Row Records producer Eric Yokoyama.

Nicole Barnes says Sexyy asked her large social media presence to conduct acts of violence at her home, forcing her to leave and putting her in immediate danger.

FBI Arrests Rappers in Houston Shooting Connection
Rappers NBA Ben10 and OG3 Three were arrested Thursday morning in connection with a Texas shooting earlier this year. Six people were arrested by the FBI and their partner agencies in Louisiana and Texas. The arrests are related to a shooting at Confessions restaurant in Houston from April. NBA Ben10 was injured in the shooting, which left him with irreversible paralysis according to court documents.

Anderson .Paak Settles With Jae Lin After 14 Years
Anderson .Paak has reached a divorce settlement with his estranged wife, Jae Lin, more than two years after filing to end their marriage. The Grammy-winning singer filed court documents on September 2 notifying the court that he and Lin had worked out an agreement covering the division of their property and support.

Kodak Black Charged With Fleeing Police
Kodak Black is off the hook in one of his criminal cases after prosecutors charged him with fleeing and resisting arrest during a traffic stop in Florida. On Tuesday, a Broward County judge granted Kodak's motion to dismiss the case, saying prosecutors produced no evidence supporting the charge that the rapper tried to elude police officers. As a result, the judge dismissed all charges against Kodak and closed the case.
