Afroman Sues Officer Over Raid Video Lawsuit
Afroman is suing former Adams County Sheriff's Sgt. Brian Newland, claiming his earlier defamation case was baseless and forced him to rack up legal fees and emotional distress. Newland and other deputies sued Afroman in 2023 over social media posts and music videos using surveillance footage from a 2022 search of his Ohio property. The deputies sought 3.9 million dollars combined but a jury found Afroman not liable earlier this year, determining he did not defame them.

He addressed the shrinking Black population, gentrification of historically Black neighborhoods, school segregation, reparations, and his relationship with Donald Trump. His consistent theme was that his economic agenda focused on childcare, transportation, housing, and affordability was fundamental to improving New Yorkers' lives.

Nicki Minaj's hotel bills, including her mini bar purchases, were revealed as part of her legal battle over an alleged six-figure debt. During her album release, Nicki stayed at a super fancy suite at the Langham hotel in New York from December 6 to December 13, 2023, at a rate of $9,500 per night. Additional charges for private-kitchen dining, room service, parking, and minibar items totaled $3,980. Expenses included over $2,200 on private kitchen food, over $20 on Evian water, $8 on a Coke, and $7 on M&Ms.
