The ESSENCE Festival of Culture 2026 took place in New Orleans from July 3-5, with Black icons across entertainment, business, and politics delivering inspiring talks and performances. Attendees showcased incredible fashion throughout the weekend. Teyana Taylor wore purple in a baggy jumpsuit and matching festival hat. Cardi B performed in a leather-and-fishnet bodysuit with metal rings and wild yellow hair. Patti LaBelle took the stage in a silky bright yellow suit with a train. Kandi Burruss gave business chic in yellow capris, light blue blazer, and matching scarf. Cynthia Bailey stunned in a full beige lace suit with matching heels.

Michael Rubin held his annual Fourth of July White Party in the Hamptons Wednesday night at his ultra-luxe fifty million dollar oceanfront estate. The star-studded event featured Jake Paul, Teyana Taylor, Mike Tyson, DJ Khaled, Alicia Keys, Shaboozey and more. Snoop Dogg performed on the roof while Alicia Keys performed a twenty-minute set. NBA stars Kevin Durant, Tyrese Haliburton, Trae Young and Kyle Kuzma attended. The guest list also included Cardi B, Nelly and Alex Rodriguez.

The rapper kept the party going Sunday night at the 2026 BET Awards after-party in Hollywood, where all eyes were on her boobs in a plunging cutout dress that hugged every curve. Let's be real, Cardi was impossible to miss with a bouncy blowout and her best accessory of all that megawatt smile.

North West is showing off new additions to her piercing collection at Paris Fashion Week. Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's 13-year-old daughter arrived at Vetements' show Friday with her signature blue hair and two new angel bite piercings on her top lip. North has been expanding her piercing collection over the past year, including a dermal hand piercing and nose piercings. She wore an all-black Vetements outfit with platform boots and accessorized with a spiked choker.

In just a handful more days, the 2026 BET Awards will take over Los Angeles, bringing all the fun, music, swagger and fashion to the culture. But while there will be plenty of red carpet looks that'll sparkle and shine, there will no doubt be folks there that completely miss the mark.
