Deceased Rapper Coolio’s Estate Burdened With Six-Figure Financial Obligations

Coolio left behind a massive amount of debt when he died, including more than six figures owed to federal taxes. According to court documents, the estate has only $24,385.60 in a bank account but lists around $140K in state and federal taxes owed, a $173K creditor claim, and approximately $1,400 in medical bills. The rapper died on September 28, 2022, at age 59, leaving behind seven children.

According to court docs, Antonio Henry, who sued Quavo for assault and battery, is making moves in Georgia to collect on the judgment he got in Nevada. The case went to trial, which ended with Quavo being ordered to pay the valet more than 650K in compensatory and punitive damages, plus interest and attorney fees, for a total exceeding 1.1 million.
