Interscope counts three completed albums while treating two others as non-counting EPs. Walker's attorneys invoked California's seven-year rule, a 1944 law allowing workers to exit personal services contracts after seven years. The original deal offered a $110,000 advance and 16 percent royalty. Walker's attorney expressed confidence in her legal position while remaining open to resolution, though a countersuit is possible.
