Angie Nixon’s Shocking Florida Primary Upset Victory

Jacksonville state Rep. Angie Nixon entered Florida's Democratic Senate primary Tuesday as the clear underdog against Alex Vindman, a nationally known former Army officer with a massive fundraising advantage. Then the ballots were tallied. Nixon, 42, defeated Vindman in a stunning victory, winning 56% of the vote. The win put a Democratic Socialist on the November ballot in a state where Republicans have dominated statewide politics for years.

Timbaland Sued by DJ Over Alleged Nepotism Claims

Timbaland is being dragged to court by a DJ who claims he was fired from the Timbaland and Missy Elliott tour shortly before it was scheduled to start and the DJ says he believes nepotism is at play. DJ E Feezy claims he was fired to clear the way for Timbaland's son to replace him. The DJ was to be paid 4K per show for a total of 120K over the course of the tour.
