Black Powerlifting Champion Sabotaged
Powerlifter Sonita Muluh shattered world records in April 2025 with a 311 kg squat. She attempted to break her own record at the IPF World Classic Powerlifting Championships in June with a 334.5 kg lift when spotter Ernestas Kusinas sabotaged her lift by touching the weights with his knee, disqualifying her. Kusinas admitted online he is racist and did it intentionally. Lithuanian police confirmed a criminal investigation is underway focusing on his Instagram comment and events at the championship.

NBA star Jaylen Brown purchased a 4,000-square-foot penthouse in Boston in late 2023. The newly remodeled space features a speakeasy, a see-through wine cellar, a custom pool table, and an 18th-century harp. Brown added unique touches including a star-gazing telescope, darkened kitchen cabinets, an 18-foot-long dining banquette, and an Italian-imported closet with tempered glass. The primary bathroom includes 24-karat gold finishes, Italian marble flooring, and a twenty-thousand-dollar toilet that makes ocean noises when flushing.

D4vd Faces Murder Trial in Tesla Death Case
D4vd is expected to stand trial in February 2027 for the alleged murder of 14-year-old Celeste Rivas-Hernandez, whose dismembered remains were discovered inside a Tesla registered to the singer. The 21-year-old musician has pleaded not guilty to first-degree murder, continuous sexual abuse of a child under 14 and mutilation of human remains.
