All eyes were on New Orleans this past weekend for ESSENCE Festival of Culture 2026. The festival lineup at the Caesars Superdome was packed with Black superstars across entertainment, politics, culture and education. From talks between Dr. Bernice King and Dr. Ilyasah Shabazz to pilates classes hosted by Keke Palmer, this ESSENCE Festival was not one to miss. Keke Palmer and Hot Ones host Sean Evans were spotted at the upscale Italian restaurant Lucali in Brooklyn on Friday night for an intimate candlelit dinner, with eyewitnesses noting they appeared completely locked in on each other for over an hour and a half.

The ESSENCE Festival of Culture 2026 took place in New Orleans from July 3-5, with Black icons across entertainment, business, and politics delivering inspiring talks and performances. Attendees showcased incredible fashion throughout the weekend. Teyana Taylor wore purple in a baggy jumpsuit and matching festival hat. Cardi B performed in a leather-and-fishnet bodysuit with metal rings and wild yellow hair. Patti LaBelle took the stage in a silky bright yellow suit with a train. Kandi Burruss gave business chic in yellow capris, light blue blazer, and matching scarf. Cynthia Bailey stunned in a full beige lace suit with matching heels.
