Timbaland is facing a lawsuit from a DJ who claims he was terminated from the Timbaland and Missy Elliott tour just weeks before it was set to launch. The dispute centers on what the DJ alleges is nepotism, with claims that he was replaced by Timbaland’s own son.
According to court documents obtained by BlkCosmo, DJ E Feezy filed suit against Timbaland and his touring company, Mosley Touring. The complaint centers on his abrupt removal from the tour roster.

Feezy was brought on in 2024 to serve as the tour’s DJ, with performances scheduled to run between July and August of that year. The contract outlined clear terms: four thousand dollars per show, totaling one hundred twenty thousand dollars across the entire tour run.
To prepare, Feezy obtained a work visa for Canada, covered associated legal fees, declined other bookings, and rehearsed the setlist. Less than a month before tour dates were to begin, he received his termination notice.
Feezy contends the firing cleared the path for Timbaland’s son to take the position instead, though Timbaland’s camp disputes this characterization.

A settlement was reportedly negotiated, but Feezy claims Timbaland failed to honor the agreement. The DJ is seeking damages of one hundred thirty thousand dollars, which includes his lost tour earnings plus the legal fees he incurred obtaining his work visa.
Timbaland has denied the allegations and moved to have the lawsuit dismissed. His legal team argues there was no binding contract with the terms Feezy alleges in his complaint.
The music producer also filed a complaint against his former manager, claiming that person handled all negotiations with Feezy. Timbaland’s response suggests any liability would rest with the manager rather than himself or his touring company.
