Tylil James Wasn’t Playing: Slams Host Fan Fan Over Kai Cenat-Diddy Joke
Let’s dive into the Fan Fan and Kai Cenat drama that set social media ablaze. A clip of Fan Fan’s joke about the streamer quickly went viral, and folks were NOT amused.
See, Kai had recently debuted a new look, chopping off his locs after his epic ‘Mafiathon 3’ streamathon. Even before the big reveal, the internet had already started making playful (and not-so-playful) comparisons between his fresh cut and Diddy.
So, when host Fan Fan tried to reference this meme at the December 6th awards, she introduced it by congratulating Kai on “his 50 Cent documentary.” Yikes. Clearly, she was going for the Diddy comparison, given his recent portrayal in the Netflix documentary, ‘Sean Combs: The Reckoning.’ But honey, that joke landed flatter than a pancake. Immediately, Tylil James, a member of the Clover Boys streaming group, stepped up to defend his friend and absolutely slammed the host.
QTCinderella’s ‘Stealing’ Joke About Rakai Fell Flat at the 2025 Streamer Awards
Kai Cenat’s young protégé, Rakai, also had his own awkward moment with another host. This time, streamer QTCinderella asked Rakai, “What’s the coolest thing you’ve ever stolen?” Oof. The joke was supposed to reference online allegations about Rakai allegedly shoplifting flowers from Walmart while streaming, and another claim that he scammed content creator Clix out of $6,500 after a bet.
The Clover Boys, a group of streamers and creators linked to Kai Cenat, were quick to react after QTCinderella’s cringe-worthy remark. The group includes Rakai, Tylil James, Reggie, Punga, BTB DEZZ, Tota MC, and Ray.
Social media went into a frenzy debating the joke. Some users called it “racist,” while others felt the host was just poking fun at Rakai’s known streaming stunts – stunts that reportedly got him banned. Rakai initially claimed a two-year ban, but Twitch clarified that was a glitch, and his actual consequences were communicated to him directly.
Even during the awards, Rakai confronted Twitch CEO Dan Clancy about his ban. Clancy simply told him that banning creators wasn’t his department and that the young streamer already knew the real reason for his suspension.
India Love Pulls a Kanye, Crashes Streamer Awards Stage to Praise Rakai & DDG
The viral moments just kept coming when social media personality-turned-streamer India Love decided to make her own statement, channeling major Kanye West 2009 MTV VMAs vibes. As everyone cleared the stage between awards, India Love casually walked up, grabbed the mic, and dropped this:
“Hello, hello. Real quick, y’all. I know ‘Breakout Streamer of the Year’ went to Adapt, and congratulations, and we respect you for what you did — but Rakai should’ve won ‘Breakout Streamer of the Year’ and DDG. I don’t care what y’all say. Shoutout to Rakai and shoutout to…[makes air horn noises].”
She then blew a kiss to the crowd and walked off stage. Soon after, videos surfaced showing Love being escorted out of the event. She later confirmed on stream that she was indeed kicked out immediately following her impromptu speech.
Speaking to Deshae Frost, she said, “I got kicked out. They said, ‘Excuse me, they gotta go.’” She doubled down on her stance, firmly stating, “That n***a should’ve won.”
Joining the rest of the internet’s reaction, Chrisean Rock weighed in on the “weird” and “disturbing” Streamer Awards, specifically calling out the organizers and producers for allowing hosts to take jabs at prominent Black streamers.
