He didn’t mince words, declaring flat out, “I think Joe Biden is the worst thing that ever happened to old people.” According to The Times, Biden’s name stayed on rotation for most of the two-hour conversation, popping up again and again like a hook in a rap song. Even though he’s eight years older now than when he first stepped into the Oval Office, Trump confidently stated, “I think it’s easier for me. I feel physically the same. I feel the way I did 40 years ago.”
He also brought up his well-known health routine, specifically his daily 325-milligram aspirin. Now, doctors usually side-eye that dose for folks over 70. But medical advice? Trump had his own reasoning.
His explanation for shunning other blood thinners was even more direct: “I want nice, thin blood going through,” adding, “because everyone I know that took them is dead.”
Still, Trump maintained he’s been more open about his health journey than any president before him.
“I’ve gone out of my way to take physical exams more than anybody,” he stated. “I just feel it’s important because I think that people that are president ideally should be in good health, and they should be good cognitively.”
