Georgina Ferzli had some bold advice for Amanda Batula when they ran into each other at the In the City premiere party in May. The Bravo newcomer was direct: she told Batula to break up with West Wilson. Real talk, no filter.
Ferzli, 40, explained her reasoning during an interview with Page Six’s Virtual Reali-Tea. She first complimented Batula, 34, for showing up to the event after staying quiet amid all the drama surrounding her relationship with Wilson, 31. “This is the first great thing you’ve done,” Ferzli said. “It takes a lot of courage to show up to this premiere party.” But then she went straight to the point: “The next good thing is to break up with West.” According to Ferzli, Batula just laughed—like she was joking. Clearly, the message didn’t land.
The West Wilson and Batula situation has been messy from the jump. They confirmed their relationship in March after weeks of speculation. In a joint Instagram statement, they said their romance grew from a “genuine long-standing friendship” and was “the last thing either of us expected.” That might sound nice in theory, but it created real tension within the Summer House friend group—especially since Wilson had previously dated Ciara Miller, who used to be one of Batula’s closest friends.
Ferzli believes Batula still has a chance to fix things. “You keep making the mistake,” Ferzli recalled telling her. “You can end the mistake and start fixing it.” Batula has apparently called the whole situation a “mistake” herself, but hasn’t acted on it yet.
Despite her harsh words, Ferzli said she’d “love to watch” Batula redeem herself and believes “everybody deserves a second chance.” That said, she wasn’t optimistic. “I don’t see that happening,” Ferzli admitted. Only time will tell if Batula takes the advice or stays the course.
