Guided by the theme “Ignite Your Vision,” Black.Indie.Ignite. convenes artists, innovators, and industry allies for skill-building, candid talks, and intentional networking—all rooted in ownership, sustainability, and culture-shifting storytelling. Let’s cultivate a new generation of Black storytellers!

Event Highlights:

Ignition Labs (workshops) on brand building, pitch craft, festival strategy, audience growth, and emerging tech.

Creator Connections: curated small-group meetups to spark collaborations across film, TV, and creative tech.

Showcase Moments spotlighting global Black indie stories and the visionaries behind them.

“Black.Indie.Ignite. is about more than inspiration—it’s about resourcing creators with real pathways to grow their craft, their audience, and their businesses,” said DeShuna Elisa Spencer, founder & CEO of kweliTV and co-host of the summit. “We’re building a space where our stories, our data, and our futures are owned by us despite the current climate.”
