Word on the street is that Starz has officially pulled the plug on “BMF” after four seasons. It’s a wrap for the Black Mafia Family on TV, y’all.
Inspired by the real-life hustle of Detroit brothers Demetrius “Big Meech” and Terry “Southwest T” Flenory, the hit crime drama gave us four seasons of pure fire since its debut in 2021.
Executive produced by none other than Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson under his G-Unit Films and Television Inc. banner, “BMF” became a cultural phenomenon. The show resonated with its raw storytelling, spot-on casting, and undeniable connection to hip-hop’s heartbeat.
Now, while the news of the cancellation might sting, sources whisper that spinoffs are in the works. So, the BMF universe might just live on!
But you know 50 Cent couldn’t resist throwing a little shade. 😂
The hip-hop mogul took to social media, posting a photo of Lil Meech holding a sign that read “Out of Work” — with the caption:
“What next season little 🥷🏿”
Fans flooded the comments with laughing emojis, proving 50’s petty levels remain undefeated.
So, what’s the future of BMF? We’ll be watching to see if 50 Cent revives the story under one of his new TV deals elsewhere.
