Britney Spears Sells Music Catalog to Primary Wave for $200 Million

    The Princess of Pop Britney Spears, 44, has sold her entire music catalog to music publisher Primary Wave. According to TMZ, Spears reportedly agreed to a โ€œlandmark dealโ€ in the ballpark of $200 million.

    On Tuesday (February 10), TMZ reported that on December 30, 2025, Spears, who is managed by Cade Hudson, signed a massive music deal. The agreement shows she sold all of her rights to her extensive music catalog, which spans over 27 years. According to the legal documents, music publisher Primary Wave will now have ownership of Spearsโ€™ catalog share.

    According to the outletโ€™s sources, the โ€œGimme Moreโ€ singer is happy with the deal and has been celebrating by spending time with her children. She shares two boys with ex-husband Kevin Federline, 47: Sean Preston Federline, 20, and Jayden James Federline, 19.

    Britney Spearsโ€™ Primary Wave Catalog Deal Reportedly Worth Over $200 Million

    While it is unclear how much Britney Spears pocketed in her catalog deal, as the total amount is not included in the documents, sources tell TMZ that the legendary singer and actress agreed to a โ€œlandmark dealโ€ in the ballpark of $200 million.

    The outlet notes that the deal is similar to the one fellow popstar Justin Bieber signed when he sold his music in May 2025. At the time, Billboard priced the deal at โ€œjust north of $200 million.โ€ In the deal, Bieber sold about 290 songs to Hipgnosis Songs Capital, the same company to which Justin Timberlake and Kenny Chesney sold their catalogs. In May 2022, we shared that JT sold his entire catalog in a massive deal.
