Cardi B and Nicki Minaj’s long-standing beef? Whew, it’s legendary! It’s been a hip-hop headline for years, complete with social media shade and even a real-life showdown at a New York Fashion Week bash back in ’18. It’s gone way beyond just music, spiraling into personal digs and family drama. Recently, things took a turn when Nicki made a comment about Cardi’s daughter, and Cardi clapped back with a comment about Minaj’s son. So, what’s the deal with Cardi and Minaj’s kids as this feud rolls on?
Cardi B shares 3 kids with Offset and has another baby on the way with Stefon Diggs
Cardi B might be a superstar, but at home, she’s all about that “mom” life with her three kids and Offset. She’s given us glimpses into her family life while still keeping her kids’ privacy in check. From those over-the-top birthday parties to sharing her honest feelings about being a mom, Cardi’s shown us how she juggles fame and family.
Kulture Kiari Cephus arrived on July 10, 2018, and quickly became a social media darling thanks to Cardi’s cute posts. Cardi’s said she wants Kulture to have opportunities she never had, like swimming lessons and artsy stuff. Some folks might say she “spoils” her daughter with fancy gifts, but Cardi’s all about letting Kulture enjoy life while staying humble.
In September 2021, Cardi and Offset welcomed their second child, Wave Set Cephus. Cardi kept his name and pics on the DL for a while, but Wave’s been popping up in family pics showing off his playful side.
Cardi’s third child, Blossom, made her debut on September 7, 2024, not long after she filed for divorce from Offset. The rapper revealed her baby girl’s unique name publicly in 2025, making headlines across the entertainment world.
Cardi’s currently expecting her fourth child, her first with boyfriend Stefon Diggs. She’s due in February 2026, just before she hits the road for her tour.
Nicki Minaj has a son whom she nicknamed ‘Papa Bear’
Nicki Minaj became a mom when she welcomed her son, nicknamed “Papa Bear,” with her husband, Kenneth “Zoo” Petty, on Sept. 30, 2020, in Los Angeles. She hasn’t shared his official name, but “Papa Bear” is her go-to in posts and interviews.
When Papa Bear turned 4, Minaj posted a heartfelt birthday shoutout on Instagram. “Dear #PapaBear, Happy 4th birthday, buddy,” she wrote. “You’ve made mama & daddy so happy. Since you were in mama’s tummy, you gave me a whole new meaning to life. Hope.”
Back in 2022, on The Late Late Show with James Corden, Minaj talked about how her son helped her see “the good in people.”
“When I look at my son, I’m reminded that I am so blessed,” she said, according to People. “I realized, for so many women, this is their dream. Their dream is to have a child, and not everybody gets that blessing. So, when you have a little baby, you are reminded every day, like, ‘Oh my God. Thank you, God, for this little gift.'”
Nicki Minaj and Cardi B mentioned each other’s kids in their 2025 online feud
Nicki Minaj and Cardi B clearly weren’t holding back during their 2025 online battle. TMZ reported that it started when Nicki wasn’t feeling Cardi’s new album, Am I the Drama?. Cardi then clapped back accusing Minaj of drug use. Minaj threatened legal action and then posted, “Kulture vulture you ugly too,” referencing Cardi’s daughter.
According to screenshots floating around on Reddit, Cardi fired back with comments about Minaj’s son, “Papa Bear,” alleging Minaj used drugs during her pregnancy and calling Cardi “obsessed and dark-spirited.”
“Kulture is beautiful and you know that,” Cardi continued in another X post.
Fans weren’t impressed with either Minaj or Cardi dragging each other’s children into the mix.
“Too much,” one fan commented. “I understand Cardi is pissed because Nicki went after hers first, but she needs to log off and cool down. Leave the babies alone.”
