Cardi B is not tolerating incorrect hot takes from the likes of Joe Budden.
The femcee is riding the wave of buzz around her new album, ‘Am I The Drama?’ Word on the street is, this album is straight fire!
Central to the chatter around the rapper’s sophomore set are diss tracks, ‘Pretty & Petty’ and ‘Magnet’ – which are aimed at Bia and JT, respectively. Or, rather, disrespectfully.
With the songs dominating discourse on social media, The Joe Budden Podcast weighed in.
Their words, specifically those of host Budden, have irked Cardi in earnest.
Here’s the full story:
On the latest episode of the show, the former rapper, who has often been critical of the femcee, praised the tracks. Only to then insinuate that they were penned by her frequent collaborator (who, his co-host pointed out, is Pardison Fontaine).
Budden said:
“The lines right here… whoever wrote these lines…he is smoking this sh*t.”
Wasting no time replying, Cardi showcased receipts of her workshopping the record herself and wrote:
“Whoever wrote it?? Nah that’s CARDI.. this is my process… I’m a natural roaster and you already know im quick with the mouth so I’ll be coming up with lines and I’ll record myself then lay it later.. Don’t give me backhanded 10’s cuz I’ll always be able to prove my sh*t”
Take a listen:
With that, what are…
