It seems like Cardi B is not holding back when it comes to her soon-to-be ex, Offset. Word is, he made some comments that suggested her new baby with boyfriend Stefon Diggs was somehow his, thanks to Georgia law.
Even though Cardi has filed for divorce and is moving forward with her new man, they’re still legally married. Cardi and Offset tied the knot back in September 2017.
After navigating those messy cheating rumors, taking some time apart, and raising two beautiful children (Kulture Kiari Cephus and Wave Set Cephus), Cardi let everyone know she was single as of December 2023.
Then, in August 2024, Cardi surprised us all with the news of her third pregnancy with Offset, right after filing for divorce. September 2024 brought the arrival of their third child, another daughter named Blossom Belle Cephus. A month later, Cardi and Stefon Diggs were linked, despite attempts to shut down the rumor mill.
Cardi B Says Ongoing Divorce With Offset Is ‘Not Peaceful At All’
In September 2025, Cardi gave us the real on her divorce with Offset. Speaking on ‘The Breakfast Club,’ she said, “It’s not peaceful at all. I can’t even talk about it because it’s a court thing, but it is not peaceful.” She also addressed his song “Move On,” where he rapped about her not cooking or following his rules.
Cardi’s response? Laughter. She said, “Why are you still bothering me? Now you got all these b*tches that cook, so why you can’t sign the papers?” When asked about future marriage plans given her pregnancy with Stefon Diggs, she said, “I will get married again, but not as quick as I got married the last time.”
Cardi B Seemingly Responds To Offset Alluding To Her And Stefon Digg’s Son Being His Due To Georgia Law
Fast forward to November 2025, Cardi and Stefon welcomed their first child together, Cardi’s fourth. Before the little one’s arrival, Offset stirred the pot with a tweet: “Divorce ain’t even finali[z]ed and you popping out another man kid 🤣🤡 #YouInTimeout.”
Following the birth of Cardi and Stefon’s son, whose name is still under wraps, Offset kept the comments coming. He tweeted, “Already got a name for my kid. Keep yo Spanish sh*t to yourself lol.” He also posted “My kid” on his Instagram Story.
These comments stem from the fact that, legally speaking in Georgia, since Cardi and Offset were still married when she gave birth to her child with Diggs, Offset could be presumed as the child’s father. However, Offset’s brother chimed in online, saying, “They didn’t get married in GA, why are y’all pushing this cap sh*t?”
Cardi seemingly addressed Offset’s tweets with some of her own:
“Mf’ers do anything for attention and it could get real nasty with just one upload… LEAVE ME TF ALONE.
Y’all be thinking it’s so funny and it’s not.. it’s been over a year and I’m still being harassed and threatened to the point that I feel like my life in danger.. it’s all fun and games until it’s too late.”
She continued her thoughts on X Spaces, alleging harassment from someone with an “unhealthy obsession,” and who is dealing with “mental illness” and “substance abuse.”
