Cassie and Alex Fine Return After Leaving USA

Cassie has largely stayed out of the spotlight since testifying against Diddy during his sex trafficking trial, but she made a rare public appearance recently at a London premiere. The singer-songwriter attended the “Mobland” showing Thursday, about a week ahead of the anticipated second season release.

Looking polished in a low-cut gray dress, Cassie posed arm in arm with her partner Alex Fine, who wore an all-black ensemble. The pair offered small smiles for photographers at the event.

Alex Fine, who appeared in three episodes of the show’s first season last year, has become a regular fixture in Cassie’s life. His presence at the premiere marks one of the few public outings the couple has made since relocating abroad.

The couple left the United States after Cassie received a $30 million settlement for the abuse she endured. That figure came from two sources: $20 million from Diddy himself and $10 million from the InterContinental Los Angeles Century, the hotel where Diddy was caught on video assaulting Cassie in a hallway.

Details about the settlement emerged during legal filings connected to a separate lawsuit filed by male escort Clayton Howard against Cassie and Diddy. Howard alleged he suffered horrific sexual abuse at their hands, claiming physical and psychological injuries resulted from the incidents.

Cassie found vindication in July when a judge dismissed all claims brought against her, though the ruling left open the possibility for Howard to refile a portion of his claim. She had taken the stand while pregnant during Diddy’s trial, and two weeks after testifying, she gave birth to her third child in May 2025.

Diddy remains incarcerated following his conviction on two counts at his federal trial. His release date continues to shift as appeals and legal proceedings move forward.

For now, Cassie appears focused on building a life away from the turbulence of recent years, finding peace with Fine and their growing family abroad.
