More than a decade after their friendship fell apart, Charles Barkley and Michael Jordan are finally back on good terms. During a recent appearance on SiriusXM’s Mad Dog Unleashed, Barkley revealed that the two NBA legends recently had a conversation and are already planning to spend time together once basketball season wraps up.

“We had a conversation,” Barkley said. “We’re going to get together and play golf as soon as basketball is over.” The fallout between the two started years ago after Barkley publicly criticized Jordan’s run as owner of the Charlotte Hornets. At the time, Jordan became furious over the comments and the two stopped speaking. Charles Barkley and Michael Jordan have had their share of beef, but apparently, that’s changing.

Barkley once recalled Jordan calling him and angrily saying, “You’re supposed to be my boy,” after hearing his criticism. Even with all the tension, Barkley says the love between them never completely went away.

“We’ve always had a lot of love for each other,” he explained, making it clear the friendship was never beyond repair. Now it looks like the two basketball icons are finally ready to move forward and leave the drama in the past.
