Ciara Responds to “Corny” Russell Wilson Remarks

Ciara isn’t here for the internet trolls trying to clown her husband, Russell Wilson. And honestly, who would be?

While chatting with The Breakfast Club to hype her new album, CiCi, Charlamagne Tha God had to go there. He asked Ciara how she feels when people label the NFL star “corny.”

Ciara didn’t even blink. She said she doesn’t need to clap back because she already knows the real deal:

“He is the most amazing Black man I know.” Preach, sis!

The singer went on to drop some truth bombs, suggesting that the haters might not even know what real love feels like:

“Maybe the person saying that doesn’t know how to love, or has never been loved right.” Ouch. But also…facts.

Social media loves to try and box Russell Wilson into some kind of “not cool” stereotype, but Ciara shut that down real quick. She’s unbothered, radiating pride, and head-over-heels for her man. And that’s the energy we’re here for!
