Socialites, get ready to celebrate! Our very own Venus Williams and Andrea Preti officially said “I do” over the weekend in Florida. And honey, it was every bit as elegant and regal as you’d expect from tennis royalty.
Vogue gave us all the gorgeous details and stunning photos from the celebration. Turns out, the power couple had already exchanged private vows in Italy back in September. The Florida affair, though? That was the grand, full-scale version! Think five days of non-stop friends, family, and all the great vibes. Because when you’re Venus Williams, you don’t cancel a dream — you just add another wedding!

“We had this dream to do our wedding in Italy,” Williams explained. “But we didn’t have enough time to do the paperwork —because I’m a foreigner, it can take about eight months. So we decided to have a second wedding.”

The weeklong celebration kicked off with a bang! Tuesday, December 16, brought a bridal party at their home, which Williams happily shared turned into a full-on Beyoncé dance fest. Just another Tuesday, right? Her sister, Serena Williams, was right there in the mix, alongside other family and close friends, radiating pure big-sister pride.

“They always say weddings go so fast, and they do. We started on Monday. Serena gave us this gift of a beautiful yacht, and she arranged all the food, everything. We had 10 to 12 of our closest family and friends who were in town on the boat, and we were singing, dancing, gossiping, and just enjoying each other,” she told Vogue.

Tuesday kept the party going with a bridal shower on their back patio, followed by an intimate Miami dinner for their inner circle on Wednesday. Then, Thursday? Naturally, it was dedicated to sports day. You can’t marry into the Williams family without breaking a sweat, can you?
The five-day extravaganza officially wrapped up on Friday with a courthouse wedding in Palm Beach, sealing the deal and making it all official.
Williams looked absolutely breathtaking in her wedding dress, while Preti was every bit as sharp, perfectly complementing his stunning bride.

    More On Their Relationship

The love story of these newlyweds first made headlines in July 2024. They were spotted enjoying a boat ride together in Nerano, Italy, sparking all the rumors. Williams later confirmed their romance after snagging a singles match win against Peyton Stearns at Washington D.C.’s Mubadala Citi DC Open in 2025.
Reflecting on the entire experience, Williams summed it up perfectly: “I can’t describe how beautiful, calm, sacred, exciting, and exalting it was,” she shared. “It was just a dream.”
And truly, when it comes to love, this is how you make it happen. Pure Black girl magic with a dash of international flair.
