Congratulations are in order for the Murphy and Lawrence family! Eddie Murphy’s son, Eric, and Martin Lawrence’s daughter, Jasmin, are officially engaged.
Eric popped the question the day before Thanksgiving, and the couple shared their joy with a sweet video on Instagram. It’s a beautiful continuation of a friendship that began with Eddie and Martin’s iconic performances in 1992’s Boomerang and 1999’s Life. Eddie even celebrated with Martin at his 2010 wedding.
While Eric and Jasmin may be the children of comedy legends, their love story is no joke. Here’s to a future filled with laughter and love. Cheers to Black love!
