This drama comes after Congress gave the DOJ a December 19 deadline to drop more documents linked to the late convicted sex offender. By Tuesday, December 23, the department unleashed another 30,000 records. While they did warn that Trump’s name pops up more than once, they’re firm that any allegations mentioned are totally “untrue.” Interestingly, among these thousands of files was the infamous letter attributed to Jeffrey Epstein himself, addressed to convicted former Olympic doctor Larry Nassar.
For those keeping score, Larry Nassar, who was a longtime doctor for the USA gymnastics team and Michigan State University, is currently serving a heavy 60-year sentence in federal prison for child sex abuse. Over 150 women and young girls bravely testified against him, detailing his horrifying abuses.
The controversial letter, if it were real, was allegedly penned by Epstein from inside the Metropolitan Correctional Center (MCC New York) in Manhattan. It was addressed to Nassar, who was an inmate at a Federal Bureau of Prisons facility in Tucson, Arizona. What’s wild is that the letter was postmarked August 13, 2019 – a whole three days after Epstein’s reported suicide in his jail cell. Prison staff are authorized to read and inspect outgoing mail, which can cause delays, but get this: the envelope was stamped “Return To Sender” with the reason “No longer at this address.”
And what did this alleged letter say? Here’s the tea:
“Dear L.N., As you know by now, I have taken the ‘short route’ home. Good luck! We shared one thing … our love and caring for young ladies and the hope they’d reach their full potential. Our President also shares our love of young, nubile girls. When a young beauty walked by, he loved to ‘grab snatch,’ whereas we ended up snatching grub in the mess halls of the system. Life is unfair. Yours, J. Epstein.”
Department Of Justice Claims Jeffrey Epstein Letter Alleging Donald Trump ‘Loves Young, Nubile Girls’ Is ‘Fake’
But hold up! The U.S. Department of Justice quickly jumped on their X account that Tuesday afternoon, totally blasting the alleged Jeffrey Epstein letter claiming Donald Trump “loves young, nubile girls” as fake. They were like, “We’re looking into this, but here are three quick facts:
- That postmark? Virginia, not New York, where Jeffrey Epstein was actually jailed at the time.
- The return address was for the wrong jail and didn’t even have his inmate number – a total no-go for outgoing mail.
- Oh, and it was processed three days AFTER he died.
Just a few hours later, the DOJ dropped another update, officially declaring the alleged Epstein letter about Trump a straight-up “FAKE.” The FBI confirmed it too, explaining their conclusions:
- The handwriting? Didn’t appear to match Jeffrey Epstein’s.
- Again, postmarked Northern Virginia, three days after his death, when he was in New York.
- The return address still didn’t match his jail or include his required inmate number.
The DOJ stressed that just because a document is released doesn’t mean the claims inside are factual. They’re just following the law by releasing everything required.
Later that day, U.S. Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche jumped into the conversation on X, echoing the sentiment. He called out the “sensationalism and outright lies” floating around the “Epstein Files.” Blanche clearly stated that the so-called Epstein-Nassar letter is “clearly FAKE” due to the wrong handwriting, return address, and postmark after Epstein’s death. He reminded everyone not to let “internet rumor engines outrun the facts” as the DOJ continues to produce all legally required documents.
