Diddy was reportedly hospitalized last week after complaining of knee pain while incarcerated at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn. According to the New York Post, the 55-year-old mogul was transferred from his cell to a local hospital on Thursday, January 30, for an MRI scan after reporting discomfort in his knee—a problem he’s struggled with for years following his participation in the New York Marathon.
The scan, which was scheduled late in the evening around 10 p.m. to avoid drawing attention from other inmates or staff, was authorized by jail authorities. Diddy did not require an overnight stay at the hospital and was returned to jail shortly after the procedure.
As of now, neither Diddy nor his legal team has publicly commented on his health. A spokesperson for the Bureau of Prisons has also refused to disclose any details regarding the medical condition of inmates.
The Bad Boy founder has been behind bars since September 2024 after being arrested on multiple serious charges, including sex trafficking, racketeering, and transportation for prostitution. His legal situation worsened recently when federal prosecutors in New York filed a superseding indictment, adding two more victims and expanding the scope of the allegations against him.
