Mass incarceration hits different when it’s someone’s parent. Christian “King” Combs made his position crystal clear this past weekend during a livestream with rapper DDG—he’s standing by his father no matter what.
While DDG was streaming Saturday night, Christian appeared on camera and kept it brief but powerful. “Free Pops, Free Diddy,” he said before things wrapped up. It’s a statement that speaks volumes about where his loyalty lies, even as mass incarceration continues to touch families across the country.
His comment comes more than a year after Sean “Diddy” Combs was convicted on two federal counts of transportation to engage in prostitution in July 2025. The 56-year-old is currently serving his sentence at FCI Fort Dix with a February 2028 release date ahead of him.
During the livestream, the 28-year-old didn’t dig into the evidence, his father’s sentence, or any potential legal shifts. Sometimes actions speak louder than words, and Christian’s public support makes his position unmistakable.
But Christian’s got his own legal battles brewing. He’s facing an ongoing civil lawsuit filed by Grace O’Marcaigh, who alleges he sexually assaulted her in 2022 while she was working as a steward aboard a yacht chartered by his father. The lawsuit also names Diddy, claiming he bears civil responsibility for what happened. Christian has denied the allegations, and the case remained active in 2026 as attorneys continued battling over jurisdiction and amended claims connected to the yacht charter.
