Anime fans and Disney lovers, get ready to enter a realm where the dark side reigns supreme. Disney Twisted-Wonderland: The Animation is set to debut October 29, exclusively on Disney+ and Hulu, bringing with it a spellbinding mix of magic, mystery, and mischief that reimagines Disney’s most infamous villains in a brand-new light.

The series follows Yuken Enma, an ordinary Tokyo high schooler who’s suddenly whisked away to the enchanted halls of Night Raven College — an elite academy built on the legacies of seven legendary figures known as the Great Seven. Each dormitory at the academy is inspired by an iconic Disney villain: the Queen of Hearts (Alice in Wonderland), Scar (The Lion King), Ursula (The Little Mermaid), Jafar (Aladdin), the Evil Queen (Snow White), Hades (Hercules), and Maleficent (Sleeping Beauty).

But Yuken isn’t exactly the model student. Lacking any magical powers and struggling to understand this new world, he quickly finds himself in trouble especially when crossing paths with the Rose-Red Tyrant, Riddle Rosehearts, a ruler who demands absolute obedience. With the help (and chaos) of his mischievous classmates Ace and Deuce, Yuken must navigate the magical academy’s secrets, dodge danger, and search for a way back home before time or temper runs out.

Disney Twisted-Wonderland: The Animation continues Disney’s growing investment in anime storytelling, joining the ranks of fan-favorite titles like Star Wars: Visions Volume 3 and other Japanese series available through Hulu on Disney+. With acclaimed shows like Murai in Love, The Fable, Go! Go! Loser Ranger!, and Cat’s Eye, anime fans have more reason than ever to dive into Disney’s ever-expanding multiverse of animation.

For fans of magical academies, dark fantasy, and Disney lore with a twist, this series promises an unforgettable ride through a world where villains are legends, and heroes are still trying to find their way.

Step into a world of magic and mischief when Disney Twisted-Wonderland: The Animation debuts October 29, streaming exclusively on Disney+ and Hulu.
